Kaptai is an Upazila of Rangamati district. Notable landmarks are Karnofully Power station; The Kaptai Lake, Karnofully Paper Mills etc. A Running event organized for the first time in Kaptai on 2021 named Chase Kaptai Half Marathon 2021. 500 runners enjoyed the beautiful track surrounded by River, Lake & Hill. After a year gap, 2nd season of Chase Kaptai Half Marathon will ber held on October 2023.
